Please read these Terms & Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the iDocScanner application.

By installing, accessing, or using iDocScanner, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the application.

1. About the Application

iDocScanner is a free document utility application that provides tools for:

• Document scanning.
• PDF and JPG creation.
• PDF reading.
• Image-to-PDF conversion.
• PDF-to-image conversion.
• PDF compression.
• Image resizing.
• File saving and sharing.

The application is provided for general personal and utility purposes.

2. Free Application

iDocScanner is currently provided free of charge.

The application does not provide an in-app purchasing system or subscription service.

The application may contain advertisements supplied by third-party advertising providers.

We reserve the right to introduce, remove, or modify features or monetization methods in future versions, subject to applicable laws and platform requirements.

3. Camera and File Permissions

Certain functions may require access to the camera.

Camera access is optional and is requested when you choose to use document scanning functionality.

Other features may allow you to select documents or images using Android's system document/file picker.

You are responsible for providing any permissions required by your device to use particular features.

4. Your Files and Content

You retain ownership of documents, images, PDFs, and other content that you process using iDocScanner.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights, permissions, licenses, or authorization to scan, reproduce, modify, convert, compress, resize, save, or share any content using the application.

You must not use iDocScanner to violate copyright, intellectual-property rights, privacy rights, confidentiality obligations, or applicable laws.

5. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the files and content that you select, create, process, save, download, or share through iDocScanner.

You should maintain appropriate backups of important documents.

We are not responsible for loss, corruption, accidental deletion, or inability to access a file resulting from device failure, storage problems, operating-system behavior, application errors, third-party applications, or user actions.

6. File Sharing

iDocScanner may provide functionality that allows you to share files with other applications or services.

When you choose to share a file, the file may be transferred to the application or service you select.

You are responsible for reviewing the recipient and destination before sharing confidential or sensitive documents.

We are not responsible for how a third-party application or recipient handles a file after you choose to share it.

7. Advertising and Third-Party Services

iDocScanner may use third-party services, including advertising, notification, analytics, crash-reporting, and other technology providers.

Such third-party services may have their own terms, policies, and data-processing practices.

You acknowledge that these third-party services are operated independently from iDocScanner and that their use may be subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

8. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Use iDocScanner for unlawful purposes.
• Use the application to infringe another person's intellectual-property or privacy rights.
• Attempt to disrupt, damage, reverse engineer, or abuse the application or its supporting services.
• Attempt to bypass security mechanisms.
• Use the application in a manner that violates Google Play policies or applicable law.

9. Availability of the Application

We attempt to keep iDocScanner functional and available, but we do not guarantee that the application will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every Android device or future Android version.

Features may be changed, discontinued, suspended, or replaced without prior notice where reasonably necessary.

10. No Professional or Guaranteed Result

iDocScanner is a general-purpose document utility.

We do not guarantee that every scan, conversion, compression, PDF generation, image conversion, or resizing operation will produce a particular result.

The quality of the output may depend on the source document, image quality, device hardware, available storage, operating-system behavior, file format, and other technical factors.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, iDocScanner is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the application, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, availability, accuracy, reliability, or non-infringement, except where such warranties cannot legally be excluded.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer of iDocScanner shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, files, profits, revenue, business opportunities, or other losses arising from or related to the use or inability to use the application.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

13. Device and Operating-System Changes

The functionality of iDocScanner may depend on Android, device manufacturers, system APIs, file-provider behavior, permissions, security restrictions, and other platform components.

Changes made by Android, Google, device manufacturers, or third-party applications may affect the behavior or availability of certain features.

14. Updates

We may release updates, fixes, security improvements, or new features from time to time.

You are responsible for keeping the application updated where necessary to maintain compatibility and security.

15. Termination

You may stop using iDocScanner at any time by uninstalling the application.

We may suspend or discontinue the application or particular features when reasonably necessary, including for security, maintenance, legal, technical, or operational reasons.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time.

Updated Terms will be published with a revised effective date.

Your continued use of iDocScanner after the updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

These Terms shall be governed by the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer is legally located, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws provide otherwise.

Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts, subject to applicable law.
